Scope

This document is applicable to hydraulic butterfly valves for intake with a maximum static head not exceeding 250 m and a nominal diameter not exceeding 10,000 mm. Hydraulic butterfly valves for intake of water pumps and hydroelectric turbines, as well as energy storage pumps, can be used as a reference for application.
