Scope

This document establishes the principles for estimating the relative biological effectiveness weighted absorbed dose for acute radiation exposure, and describes the estimation method, including the pathways of acute radiation exposure, the RBE values used for evaluating deterministic effects, and the estimation of internal and external radiation doses.
