Scope

This document stipulates the area of forest land occupied, building area, road width, and construction requirements for engineering facilities directly serving forestry production and operation (hereinafter referred to as "forestry direct service facilities").
This document applies to the land use norms for the following facilities: — Facilities for cultivating and producing seeds and seedlings; — Facilities for storing seeds, seedlings, and timber; — Logging roads, transport roads, fire patrol roads, and forest trails; — Forestry scientific research and popular science education facilities; — Facilities for wildlife protection, forest protection, forest pest control, forest fire prevention, and timber quarantine; — Water, electricity, heating, and gas supply infrastructure; — Other engineering facilities directly serving forestry production.
Note: The above facilities are all the forestry direct service facilities listed in Article 52 of the Forestry Law of the People's Republic of China.
