Scope

This standard specifies the emission concentration limits and unit product reference discharge volumes for four types of water pollutants from urban wastewater treatment plants and industrial sectors within the Chaohu Lake Basin. It also stipulates the related requirements for monitoring, control, and implementation and supervision of the standard. This standard applies to the emission management of major water pollutants from urban wastewater treatment plants and industrial sectors within the Chaohu Lake Basin; as well as the environmental impact assessment of construction projects, the design of environmental protection facilities for construction projects, the completion and acceptance of projects, and the emission management after their commissioning. For the content and requirements not specified in this standard, the current corresponding standards shall still be implemented.
