This standard specifies the method of measuring the size of the Ir192 gamma ray source using radiographic film exposed together with a test sample and an Ir192 gamma ray source.
This standard is applicable to the measurement of the size of the Ir192 gamma ray source by the units that use it, whether it is newly purchased or in use. The Ir192 gamma ray source production units can also refer to this standard when measuring the size of the radiation source.
