Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, usage conditions, technical requirements, structural features and parameters, testing and acceptance, and marking of diesel shunting locomotives used in urban rail transit.
This standard applies to diesel shunting locomotives (hereinafter referred to as locomotives) powered by diesel engines, which are used for shunting operations in urban rail transit depots or parking lots, as well as for train rescue and engineering train traction.
