Scope

This part of GB/T 1251 proposes the perception criteria for visual signals of hazards in the signal reception area, stipulates the safety and ergonomic requirements of visual signals of hazards, the corresponding physical measurements, and the methods of subjective visual inspection, and provides signal design guidelines so that the signals can be clearly perceived and differ from the relevant content described in GB/T 15706.2-1995 Section 5.3. This part is not applicable to the following types of hazard indicators: -- Those that present information in the form of text or graphics; -- Those that transmit information through data display units. This part is not applicable to situations stipulated by specific regulations (such as public disasters and public transportation, etc.).
