Scope

This part of GB/T 20633 specifies the definitions, classifications, and general requirements for electrical insulating materials suitable for coating printed circuit boards (conformal coatings). This part does not include compatibility requirements between the coatings and printed circuit boards. For special applications, compatibility should be evaluated separately. This part also does not include surface conditioning agents that only form non-cured coatings with limited protective effects. This part applies to coatings used to support printed circuit boards (conformal coatings).
