Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, metrological requirements, inspection rules, and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of electronic weighing instruments (hereinafter referred to as "instruments"). It defines terms and definitions, classifications, and codes, and describes testing methods.
This document is applicable to electronic weighing instruments of medium accuracy and ordinary accuracy used in non-automatic weighing devices.
