Scope
This standard specifies the measurement principle, material preparation, operating methods, and result determination of the indirect ELISA diagnostic technique for equine infectious anemia.
This standard is applicable to the detection of equine infectious anemia virus antibodies in equine serum. It can be used by horse producers and operators for the quarantine of horses that have not been vaccinated against equine infectious anemia, the qualitative diagnosis of horses with equine infectious anemia, and the determination of the immune status of horses that have been vaccinated against equine infectious anemia.
