Scope
This part of GB/T 35552 specifies the basic requirements for Class B Automatic Identification System (AIS) equipment that adopts Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance (CSTDMA) technology, as well as environmental, power supply, interference, and safety requirements, performance requirements, the layered model and its technical characteristics, test conditions, power supply, environmental, and electromagnetic compatibility tests, operational tests, physical layer tests, link layer tests, network layer tests, and Chinese short message tests.
This part is applicable to the design, production, and inspection of Class B AIS equipment that adopts CSTDMA technology, as well as the application and management of waterborne communication services.
