Scope

This standard specifies the inspection content and technical requirements for online calibration of spring-loaded direct-load safety valves used in steam boilers, pressure vessels, and pressure pipelines. This standard applies to spring-loaded safety valves with a set pressure of 0.1 MPa to 42.0 MPa and a flow channel diameter of 25 mm or greater for online calibration. Spring-loaded safety valves with a set pressure of 0.02 MPa to 0.1 MPa may refer to this standard for online calibration. Safety valves for viscous media, media containing solid particles or potentially forming crystals, operating temperatures below -20℃, and those prone to seal surface adhesion are not applicable to this standard for online calibration.
