Scope

This standard specifies the definition, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labels, packaging, transportation, storage, and shelf life of oligosaccharides used as feed additives.
This standard applies to oligosaccharide products made from plants rich in hemicellulose (such as corn cobs) as raw materials, enzymatically hydrolyzed by xylanase, and compounded with substances allowed to be used as carriers (or adjuvants) such as corn cobs, limestone powder, and silica powder, for use as feed additives.
