Scope

This part of GB/T 39853 specifies the functional testing and uncertainty requirements of the instrument. The functions of the instrument include measuring, recording, and effectively monitoring power quality parameters in the power supply system, and it adopts the measurement methods defined in IEC 61000-4-30 (Class A or Class S).
This part is applicable to power quality monitoring equipment that complies with GB/T 39853.1.
This part may also be referenced by other product standards (such as digital fault recorders, gateway meters, medium- or high-voltage protection relays), which stipulate that the equipment must embed the Class A or Class S power quality functions defined in IEC 61000-4-30.
These requirements apply to single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase AC 50 Hz or 60 Hz power supply systems.
