This document defines the terminology of woodworking planers and their main components, specifies the geometric accuracy inspection and corresponding tolerances, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to the accuracy inspection of general-purpose, ordinary-precision woodworking planers.
This document is not applicable to the operational tests of woodworking planers (such as vibration, abnormal noise, and creep of components), nor to the performance tests of machine tools (such as speed and feed rate).
