Scope
This standard specifies the selection and assembly of sliding bearings (in accordance with GB/T 7308).
The diameter clearance of the bearing is determined by the diameter of the bearing seat hole, the diameter of the bearing journal, and the thickness of the two bearing shells. The tolerance "overlap" of these parts generally reaches 50 μm to 60 μm. According to the development and practice of modern engines, in order to improve engine performance, it is necessary to reduce the range of clearance formed by the tolerance "overlap". This standard proposes various solutions and recommendations for selecting and assembling bearings to achieve this small clearance range.
