Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and designations, order content, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, inspections and tests, packaging, markings, and quality certificates for continuous hot-dip galvanized steel plates and strips used in construction. This document applies to magnesium-coated steel plates with a thickness of 0.20 mm to 8.0 mm, other coated steel plates with a thickness of 0.20 mm to 6.0 mm, and continuous hot-dip galvanized steel plates and strips with a width not exceeding 2080 mm, which are used for various purposes except for automobiles and home appliances that do not require ultra-deep stamping deformation.
