Scope

This document specifies the classification, designation, order content, dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of duplex stainless steel hot-rolled steel plates used in ships and marine engineering. This document is applicable to the manufacture of ocean-going, coastal, and inland navigation ships, fishing vessels, and marine engineering structures using duplex stainless steel plates with a thickness of 5 mm to 60 mm.
