Scope
This document specifies the standard measurement conditions and methods for the monochrome speckle contrast of laser display devices. This document is applicable to all laser display devices that are solely powered by laser light sources, as well as hybrid light sources that include laser light sources (one or more) and spontaneous emission light sources (such as light-emitting diodes). Note: The measurement of monochrome speckle contrast does not include aspects related to image quality.
