Scope

This standard is formulated to unify and standardize the terminology of civil building design, and to facilitate cooperation and communication at home and abroad. This standard applies to the design, teaching, scientific research, management, and other related fields of civil buildings in housing construction projects. When using the terminology of civil building design, in addition to complying with the provisions of this standard, it shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
