Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of pipe compensation joints (hereinafter referred to as compensation joints) according to ISO 70051:1992 (PN series) for flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of compensation joints for pipelines transporting seawater, fresh water, cold and hot water, drinking water, domestic sewage, crude oil, fuel oil, lubricating oil, refined oil, air, gas, steam with a temperature not exceeding 205℃, and other media.
