Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of pipe compensation joints (hereinafter referred to as compensation joints) according to GB/T 9112-2010 (PN series) for flange connection dimensions and sealing surfaces. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of compensation joints used in pipelines for conveying seawater, fresh water, cold and hot water, drinking water, domestic sewage, crude oil, fuel oil, lubricating oil, refined oil, air, gas, steam with a temperature not exceeding 205 °C, hot gases, and powdered particles, etc.
