Scope

This standard specifies the determination method of flame atomic absorption for samples from regional geochemical surveys. This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of seven elements, including copper (Cu), lead (Pb), zinc (Zn), cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), and manganese (Mn), in soil and water sediment samples from regional geochemical surveys. The detection limits of this method are: copper: 3 μg/g, lead: 4 μg/g, zinc: 4 μg/g, cobalt: 1 μg/g, nickel: 3 μg/g, chromium: 4 μg/g, and manganese: 5 μg/g.
