Scope

This section specifies the method of measuring the coupling power ratio (CPR) coefficient. When measuring the attenuation and insertion loss of multimode fiber according to GB/T 18311.4—2003, the CPR is used to characterize the characteristics of the light source and standardize the injection conditions.
The CPR coefficient can be measured at wavelengths of 850nm and 1300nm.
