GB/T 38051.1-2021 Household electric cooking appliances—Part 1:Ranges,ovens,steam ovens and grills—Methods for measuring performance
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the performance test methods for household electric stoves, ovens, steamers, and grills.
The ovens covered by this document may or may not have microwave functions.
Manufacturers should clearly specify the main cooking function of the appliance - microwave function or heating. The energy consumption of the main cooking function should be measured according to existing methods. If the user manual states that the main cooking function is microwave, then energy consumption measurement should be carried out according to IEC 60705. If the main cooking function is declared as heating, then energy consumption measurement should be carried out according to this document.
If the manufacturer does not declare the main function, then the performance of the microwave function and heating should be measured as much as possible.
Note 1: For the measurement of energy consumption and time of load heating (see 7.4), it does not apply to:
——Microwave combination functions;
——Ovens with reciprocating trays or turntables;
——Small cavity ovens;
——Ovens without adjustable temperature control;
——Heating functions other than those defined in 3.12~3.14;
——Appliances with only separate steam functions (3.15).
Note 2: This document does not apply to:
——Microwave ovens (IEC 60705);
——Portable appliances for cooking, baking, steaming, and similar purposes (IEC 61817).
This document specifies the main performance characteristics of these appliances that are of interest to users and specifies the measurement methods for these characteristics.
This document does not specify the classification or ranking of performance.
Note 3: Some of the tests specified in this document are not considered to be reproducible, as the results obtained by different laboratories may vary. Therefore, these tests are only used as comparative tests. [ZK)]
