Scope

This standard specifies the grades, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations of high-strength structural steel plates, as well as technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to high-strength structural steel plates with a thickness of no more than 150 mm, delivered in a quenched and tempered (heat-treated and tempered) condition.
