This document provides a transfer matrix theory for determining the noise characteristics of hydraulic components and systems, and provides guidance for measuring the noise characteristics of hydraulic fluids.
This document is applicable to the measurement of hydraulic fluid noise in a hydraulic drive circuit under steady-state conditions within the frequency range of 10 Hz to 3,000 Hz.
