JGJ 166-2016 Technical code for safety of cuplock steel tubular scaffolding in construction
Basic Information
Scope
1.0.1 In order to standardize the design, construction, use, and management of bowl-clamp type steel pipe scaffolds, and to ensure that they are technologically advanced, safe and practical, and economically reasonable, these regulations are formulated. 1.0.2 These regulations apply to the design, construction, use, and management of bowl-clamp type steel pipe double-row scaffolds and formwork support frames used in construction projects such as building and municipal engineering. 1.0.3 Before the construction of bowl-clamp type steel pipe scaffolds, a special construction plan must be prepared. For formwork support frames and double-row scaffolds with a height exceeding 24m, the structural components and the bearing capacity of the upright rods should be designed and calculated in accordance with the provisions of these regulations; when the height of the double-row scaffolds is 24m or less, they can be erected in accordance with the structural requirements of these regulations. 1.0.4 The design, construction, use, and management of bowl-clamp type steel pipe scaffolds shall comply with these regulations, as well as the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
