Scope

1.0.1 In order to standardize the design of flat glass factories, strengthen the comprehensive utilization of resources, improve labor productivity, and promote technological progress in product quality, energy conservation and emission reduction, informatization, and intelligent control in the flat glass industry, so as to achieve advanced technology, economic rationality, energy conservation, environmental protection, and safe operation, these specifications are formulated. 1.O.2 These specifications apply to the design of new, reconstructed, and expanded flat glass factories mainly using the float glass production process. 1.O.3 The design shall comply with local planning requirements. For reconstruction and expansion projects, existing facilities, sites, and resources shall be rationally utilized, and the working environment shall be improved. 1.0.4 The design shall set up metering devices in accordance with the requirements of classified metering management in the factory. Energy metering shall have three-level metering devices for the factory, workshops, and key energy-consuming equipment. 1.O.5 In addition to complying with these specifications, the design of flat glass factories shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
