Scope

1.0.1 In order to implement the national safety production policies and ensure the safety of construction workers in the design and construction of bolted steel pipe scaffolding, and to achieve advanced technology, economic rationality, and safe application, these specifications are formulated. 1.0.2 These specifications apply to the design, construction, and acceptance of ground-based single and double row bolted steel pipe scaffolding, full-coverage bolted steel pipe scaffolding, steel profile overhanging bolted steel pipe scaffolding, and full-coverage bolted steel pipe support scaffolding used in housing construction and municipal engineering projects. 1.0.3 Before the construction of bolted steel pipe scaffolding, the structural components and the bearing capacity of the base of the uprights shall be designed and calculated in accordance with the provisions of these specifications, and a special construction plan shall be prepared. 1.0.4 The design, construction, and acceptance of bolted steel pipe scaffolding shall comply with the provisions of these specifications, and shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
