JGJ 162-2008 Technical code for safety of forms in construction

Scope

This standard is formulated to implement the national safety production guidelines and policies in the construction of formwork projects, ensuring safe production, advanced technology, economic rationality, and convenient application. This standard applies to the design, fabrication, installation, and dismantling of formwork systems for cast-in-place concrete projects in construction. When designing and constructing formwork projects, designers and constructors should proceed from the actual situation of the project and select materials, solutions, and structural measures reasonably. The strength, stability, and rigidity of the formwork during transportation, installation, and use should be met, and standardized formwork supports and components should be preferentially used. In addition to meeting the requirements of this standard, the design, fabrication, installation, and dismantling of formwork projects in construction should also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
