Scope

This document specifies the particle size range, apparent density, Mohs hardness, moisture content, electrical conductivity of leachate, and water-soluble chloride content of cross-stone abrasives used for jet cleaning.
The requirements specified in this document only apply to unused abrasives, and not to abrasives used during or after use.
The test methods for non-metallic abrasives used for jet cleaning are described in the various parts of ISO 11127.
