GB/T 18451.2-2021 Wind turbines—Power performance measurements of electricity producing
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 18451 specifies the test methods for the power characteristics of single wind turbine generators, and is applicable to all types and sizes of grid-connected wind turbine generators. In addition, this part describes the power characteristic test methods for grid-connected and small wind turbine generators connected to battery packs (defined in IEC 61400-2). The test methods can be used to evaluate the performance of specific wind turbine generators in specific geographical locations. Similarly, when considering the impact of specific site conditions and data screening, this method can be used to conduct a general comparison of wind turbine generators of different types or configurations. The power characteristics of wind turbine generators are determined by measuring the power curve and annual energy production (AEP). The measured power curve is defined as the relationship between wind speed and the output power of the wind turbine generator, which is determined by synchronously collecting meteorological parameters (including wind speed) and wind turbine generator signals (including output power) over a certain period of time. This period should be long enough to establish a statistically significant database under certain wind speed ranges and atmospheric condition changes. AEP is calculated using the measured power curve and the frequency distribution of reference wind speeds, assuming that the availability rate of the wind turbine generator is 100%. The measurement methods specified in this part require an assessment of the sources of uncertainty and their combined effects on the measured power curve and annual energy production.
