Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for self-monitoring by wastewater discharge units in the livestock and poultry farming industry, the formulation of monitoring plans, and the basic contents and requirements for information recording and reporting. This standard applies to wastewater discharge units in the livestock and poultry farming industry conducting self-monitoring of water and air pollutants, noise, and the impact on the surrounding environmental quality during the production and operation phase. This standard does not apply to livestock and poultry farming enterprises that entirely adopt the resource utilization model to process livestock and poultry farming waste. The self-monitoring requirements for self-owned thermal power generators (plants) and supporting power boilers shall be implemented in accordance with HJ 820.
