This part of GB/T 39715 specifies a method for determining the content of bio-based materials in plastic products based on radiocarbon analysis and elemental analysis.
This part is applicable to plastic products, plastic materials, polymer resins, monomers, or additives made from bio-based and/or fossil-based components. It is also applicable to plastic products containing carbon elements, and provides their elemental composition and the content of bio-based materials.
