Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for self-monitoring by PVC industrial wastewater discharge units, the formulation of monitoring plans, and the basic contents and requirements for information recording and reporting. This standard applies to PVC industrial wastewater discharge units conducting self-monitoring of water and air pollutants, noise, and impacts on the surrounding environmental quality during the production and operation phase. For PVC industrial wastewater discharge units, the self-monitoring requirements for inorganic chemical production units shall be implemented in accordance with HJ 1138, and the self-monitoring requirements for self-owned thermal power generating units (plants) and supporting power boilers shall be implemented in accordance with HJ 820.
