Scope
The standard specifies the methodological principles, reagents and materials, instrumentation and equipment, experimental procedures, result calculation, and precision for determining the total sulfur in coal by the Aeschlimann method, the Coulomb method, and the high-temperature combustion neutralization method. When conducting arbitration analysis, the Aeschlimann method should be used. This standard applies to lignite, bituminous coal, anthracite, and coke, as well as to dried coal samples of coal slurry.
