Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for offline calibration and evaluation of high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure safety valves, preparation before calibration, calibration methods, evaluation methods, handling after calibration, and calibration records and reports.
This standard applies to the offline calibration and evaluation of high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure safety valves (hereinafter referred to as safety valves) with a set pressure of 42 MPa to 250 MPa.
