Scope
This part of GB 7000 specifies the general requirements for lamps using electric light sources with a power supply voltage not exceeding 1,000 V. The requirements and related tests proposed in this part include: classification, marking, mechanical structure, and electrical structure. Each chapter of this part should be read in conjunction with Chapter 0 and other relevant chapters referenced. Other parts of GB 7000 specify the specific requirements for a particular type of lamp or a group of lamps with a power supply voltage not exceeding 1,000 V. For ease of revision, these parts are published separately, and additional parts will be added when necessary.
