Scope

In order to improve the design, construction, and management of urban public toilets and meet the needs of urban residents and migrant populations for toilets, this standard is formulated. This standard applies to the new construction and renovation of urban public toilets. The construction of public toilets shall meet the requirements of the urban overall planning and the current national standard GB 50337, "Urban Environmental Sanitation Facilities Planning Code". In addition to complying with this standard, the design of urban public toilets shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant current national standards.
