CJJ 27-2012 Standard for setting of environmental sanitation facilities

Scope

This standard applies to the setting up of urban and rural environmental sanitation facilities. In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's "Notice on Issuing the 2009 Engineering Construction Standards Formulation and Amendment Plan" (Jianbiao [2009] No. 88), the standard-drafting group conducted extensive investigations and studies, carefully summarized practical experience, referred to relevant international standards and advanced foreign standards, and, after widely soliciting opinions, revised this standard. The main technical content of this standard is as follows: 1. General provisions; 2. Basic requirements; 3. Environmental sanitation public facilities; 4. Environmental sanitation engineering facilities; 5. Other environmental sanitation facilities. The main technical content of the revised standard is as follows: 1. Adjusted the scope of application of the original standard; 2. Revised the content of dedicated channels for environmental sanitation vehicles, manure storage tanks, septic tanks, vehicle washing stations, etc.; 3. Added the selection principles of garbage disposal technologies and land use indicators for garbage disposal facilities, etc.; 4. Added the content of kitchen waste disposal facilities to other garbage disposal facilities; 5. Revised some problems found in the implementation of the original standard according to new research results and practical experience. The provisions marked in bold in this standard are mandatory and must be strictly implemented.
