This document establishes the basic principles and testing procedures for conducting comparative tests on consumer products and related services.
This document is applicable to the implementation of comparative tests that provide information to consumers.
This document does not include the identification of counterfeit goods and conformity assessment.
Note: ISO 22383 provides standards for selecting and evaluating the performance of certification programs used to combat counterfeit goods, and the ISO Conformity Assessment Committee (CASCO) organizes the development of relevant standards for conformity assessment.
