Scope

This part of GB/T 24635 specifies the method for evaluating the measurement uncertainty of the measurement results obtained using coordinate measuring machines and calibrated workpieces. It provides an experimental method for simplified uncertainty evaluation of coordinate measuring machine measurements. This method (alternative measurement) uses the same approach as actual measurement, but replaces the unknown measured workpiece with a calibrated workpiece whose dimensions and shape are similar to those of the actual workpiece.
