Scope

This standard specifies a laboratory test method for evaluating the performance of wheels made entirely or partially from light alloys when subjected to axial (lateral) impacts against curbs.
This standard applies to light alloy wheels for road vehicles, with the aim of conducting verification and/or quality control of the wheels.
