GB/T 3001-2007 Refractory products—Determination of modulus of rupture at ambient temperature

Scope

This standard specifies a test method for determining the flexural strength of refractory materials under constant stress at room temperature. This method is suitable for both shaped and unshaped refractory materials. If used for chemically bonded or tar-bonded bricks, these products should undergo some form of pre-heat treatment. The specific requirements for this pre-heat treatment are beyond the scope of this standard and require agreement with the relevant parties, which should be noted in the test report.
