Scope

This document stipulates the energy consumption quota grades, technical requirements, calculation scope, and calculation methods for professional container terminals, dry bulk (coal, ore) terminals, and crude oil terminals.
This document is applicable to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption in the production operations of domestic container terminals, dry bulk (coal, ore) terminals, and crude oil terminals, as well as the control of energy consumption in newly built and renovated or expanded container terminals, dry bulk (coal, ore) terminals, and crude oil terminals. Among them, professional container terminals do not include automated container terminals, and crude oil terminals include terminals solely engaged in crude oil loading and unloading operations and terminals mainly engaged in crude oil loading and unloading operations with a crude oil throughput ratio of more than 50%, excluding the supporting storage areas behind crude oil terminals.
