Scope

This standard applies to the investigation of basic data and special investigations related to water and soil conservation projects; the measurement work in areas such as the treatment of support and auxiliary ditches, floodwater inundation and water diversion projects, pond dams, gully and bank protection, siltation dams, sand-barrage dams, waste disposal sites, material yards, sediment-control projects, and flood control and drainage projects; the determination of the tasks, depth, content, and methods of the survey for water and soil conservation projects; and the survey work for sand-barrage dams, large-scale siltation dams, Grade 4 and above waste disposal sites, and natural building materials. In addition to complying with this standard, the investigation and survey work for water and soil conservation projects shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
