Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining the flammability of building products by directly impacting a vertically placed specimen with a small flame under no additional radiation conditions. For products that melt or shrink without being ignited by flames, Appendix A provides additional test procedures. Appendix B provides information on the accuracy of the test method.
