Scope

This document describes the method of determining the temperature rise and fatigue resistance of vulcanized rubber using a constant-stress flexure testing machine.
Many rubber products (such as tires, conveyor belts) require the application of a constant-amplitude periodic dynamic load during testing. In order to ensure that the laboratory test results are well correlated with the actual operating conditions of the products, this document provides the corresponding test methods under the above-mentioned conditions.
This document is not applicable to vulcanized rubber with a hardness of more than 85 IRHD.
