This document describes the test methods for the durability, height loss, and hardness of mattresses with a thickness of 100 mm or more (including mattress covers that form an integral part of the mattress).
This document is applicable to both residential and non-residential adult mattresses (excluding water mattresses and air mattresses).
This document is not applicable to standalone mattress covers.
The test methods in this document do not include evaluations of aging, degradation, flame retardancy, or electrical performance.
